Shanghai Changxiao Travel Service was established in 2016, our main business is selling international cell phone sim cards and global data cards, mainly through online platforms, such as Tmall, Ctrip, Feizhu and so on. We also have our own Feizhu e-store.
The main sim card brands we sell are Vodafone, Giffgaff, Three, T-mobile, MTC, Joytel, Celcom, etc. Before the Covid pandemic outbreak, 25,000 new customers were added each month, and fothe rest of the brands such as O2, EE, 2degree, Telstra, etc , about 10,000 new customers each month. The total monthly sales were about 35,000 units. When the epidemic broke out, various outbound activities were severely affected and monthly sales dropped to 3,000-15,000 units.
The Company's customers are divided into long-term and short-term users.
Long-term users mainly come from educational institutions and training centers that we work with. Cooperation with educational and training institutions mainly adopts the approach of advertising promotion, so that educational institutions help us push purchase links in WeChat groups, and students or parents of students choose to buy the right plan on their own. The total business targets pushed with advertising campaigns in 2018 and 2019 totalled about 1,000 people. The actual targets who concluded a deal were around 500-600. Customers of the partner institutions are mainly students and visiting scholars who go to study or do research in the UK, US and Europe, to whom we sell products from local telcos as they are our long-term end customers.
For customers on Taobao, Tmall, and Feizhu, we would inquire their usage needs when they talk with our customer service before purchasing a card, and if they declare that they are long-term users, the customer service would first recommend a local phone card for the corresponding country.
We also have many short-term users in our stores on these e-platforms, such as tourists and parents visiting relatives, and for these people we mainly sell global data cards.
